PERFORMANCE PERFECTED
World No. 2 Anna Bright introduced the Delta design to professional pickleball after extensive on-court testing of numerous temple and frame architectures. Through this process, the Delta emerged as the clear performance leader, distinguished by its signature teardrop frame architecture. This focused design blocks intrusive side light, reduces visual noise, and allows the eyes to remain relaxed behind the lens during extended, high-intensity play.
The Delta pairs this frame architecture with interchangeable ZEISS PILLA lens technology, offering lens filters optimized for full sun, low light, and indoor conditions to maintain consistent visual clarity in any environment. Comfort and fit are further refined through the Copa Hinge system, which allows the lens to be tilted on the face for precise adjustment to the athlete’s nose bridge, enhancing overall comfort while ensuring a secure, customized fit. After testing numerous configurations, Anna selected and adopted the Delta for its uncompromising comfort, stability, and measurable visual benefit, and continues to support and believe in the Delta as a critical performance advantage at the highest level of competition.
EXPLORE THE DELTA
Interchangeable Frame
The Delta allows for maximum adjustability to create a perfect fit for a wide range of ergonomic needs. The Delta hinge provides a customized fit on the front of the face with a 30-degree range of lens tilt. This is highly effective in regulating light from the bottom of the lens while also allowing adjustment of where the nose bridge rests on the athlete’s nose. In addition to front tilt, the frame is adjustable in both length and shape. The frame incorporates a Pilla proprietary design element called a forked tip, which helps balance the glasses on the face. The fork functions like a pair of hands and can be easily shaped around the back of the head. When the tips rest against the head, the glasses become perfectly balanced, making them feel feather-light.
Delta Teardrop Temple
The Delta frame uses a teardrop shape specifically to help block side light from entering behind the mask of the glasses. This is a critical design element that helps relax the eye, extending visual endurance over the course of a match. When the eye is relaxed, it can take full advantage of the filter technology infused into the lens. This design is highly effective in maintaining the eyes in an active state, helping keep hand-eye coordination fresh, quick, and precise. The wider design also helps in windy conditions and reduces dust intrusion.
Sweat Bar
Equipped with a soft, durable rubber sweat bar, this feature increases airflow behind the lens to help prevent fogging during intense activity. It channels heat and moisture away from the eyes, keeping your vision clear. Paired with our ZEISS “Ice” lens coating, the sweat bar contributes to excellent fog and steaming reduction, even in hot or humid conditions.
Nosepiece
The single saddle nosepiece is made from high-performance silicone, providing a cushioned and secure fit across the bridge of the nose. It’s designed to stay in place during quick head turns, sprints, and active play, offering all-day comfort without slipping or pinching, even during high-sweat, high-impact movement.
Interchangeable Lens
Every lens features advanced ZEISS “ICE” technology, combining Chromashift and Infra Red filtration to deliver sharp contrast, enhanced color, and improved clarity across a wide range of lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. All lenses are treated with ZEISS’s 7-layer anti-reflective coating to eliminate glare, reduce eye strain, and meet ZEISS’s rigorous optical certification standards for peak visual performance.
Temple Attachment
Change lens filters quickly and with ease. The Delta System uses a proprietary Pilla design that has been part of our technology for over 25 years. The frame snaps off the lens by releasing the side snaps and center pin. Attaching the frame to a new lens filter is just as simple: the center of the frame hinge slides under the center pin, and the hinge snaps securely into the top and bottom catches. This design allows athletes to change lenses easily without leaving fingerprints on the optics.
